Pedro's Angus Feeder Calf Program:

We constantly receive requests from feedlot operators asking for Pedro's Angus sired calves. These calves have always been sought after by feeders because of their growth and carcass quality. Pedro's Angus Bull Buyers now have a single source for selling their calves at a Premium Price.

Along with the benefit of higher premiums, rate of gain and carcass data is provided on each animal. In the past, farms with only 5-50 animals had a much more difficult time participating in such a program. Our program provides flexibility on the number of animals and when they can be delivered.

We offer this program to help our customers at no cost so they can realize the full profit potential of their calves. Our program benefits producers who want to send a truck load or pool calves with other producers to have a high-quality feedlot finish and market their calves.

Roger Chambers, owner of Silver Creek Feeders Inc., located in Treynor, Iowa is a licensed Certified Angus Beef (CAB) feedlot, currently with a 3900 head capacity. In 2005, Certified Angus Beef (CAB) recognized Silver Creek Feeders as "Progressive Partner of the Year." Every animal going through the Silver Creek Program has a complete set of data on performance including carcass information. 

Our program lets you have partial or full retained ownership, thus maximizing your returns. It is designed for cattle that have good genetics, but the cattle do not have to be 100% Angus. Crossbred Angus cattle also work very well.
